Inline Studio is a relatively young company bringing with it a fresh and technologically up to date design service aimed at both Traditional Design and New Media.

The company was founded by Matthew Marais and Simon Angling each bringing with them the necessary skills from different design and web development fields.

Matthew Marais

Matthew Marais studied both Fine Art and Graphic design in South Africa after which he spent 3 years working and traveling abroad and returned in 2002 to pursue his design ambitions. Matthew has spent 9 years teaching graphic and web design full time at various tertiary institutions including Damelin East London, CCS IT and ELMI Management Institute, and is still a regular lecturer. He worked as a freelance designer trading as Token Graphics before founding Inline Studio in 2007.

Simon Angling

Simon Angling comes from a large agency background working for Dewe Rogerson in the 80s. In 1991 he founded Finlayson Design in London which he built up to a team of 15 designers until he left to head up a Intranet development and consulting team for the Incepta Group in 1997. He has consulted on web and design projects for companies such as Barclays Group, 3M, FT, and Kimberly Clark.

Simon has since left the company to persue other business interests at CCS IT Solutions as a part owner. We do use his services from time to time in a freelance capacity.
